They come out of the box ready to be installed and connected to either a server or SAN, and all models feature easy-to-use operator control panel (OCP), Web-based remote management user (RMU) interface to:
- execute setup and diagnostics
- check library status, operations and logos
- upgrade firmware
- expansion modules (available second-half of CY2008) to easily scale with growing storage needs;
simply add a 4U/48-slot or 8U/96-slot expansion module to existing AP Series tape library
