Virtual Iron requires a single management server linked to one or more physical servers (nodes) on an Ethernet network; those nodes must have Intel® (Intel VT) or AMD (AMD-V™) Virtualization Technology. (How to check if your hardware is virtualization ready.) Additionally, a Virtual Iron approved, centralized storage area network (SAN) must be in place for virtualization technology to be properly deployed.
