Founded in 1992 in Dallas, Texas as Excel Computer Ltd., we were a full line supplier of computer, software and networking solutions. Enjoying successful operations, Excel Computer acquired the CD-ROM business division (Meridian Data) of Quantum in March 2000. Excel Computer, Ltd. then became Excel Meridian Data, Inc. In June 2000, Excel Meridian Data, Inc. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Alanco Technologies, Inc. of Scottsdale, Arizona.
EMD, through business opportunities, gravitated to where it is today focusing on CD and DVD server and network attached storage (NAS) solutions and then evolving to advanced technologies such as direct attached storage (DAS) and storage area networks (SAN), RAID subsystems, and server virtualization through software partners. We are located in North Dallas, Texas providing complete data storage solutions to meet the demanding needs of today's business communities locally, nationally, and internationally. We back our solutions with knowledgeable, US-based technical support engineers, professionally trained sales professionals, and a comprehensive warranty plan.

Victoria Pearson
President
Ms. Pearson is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Pacific Lutheran University with degrees in Computer Science/Information Systems and Marketing. Throughout her twenty plus years in business, she has held many management positions. She has always maintained an entrepreneurial spirit, founding various companies in the IT industry. Victoria successfully ran ProAct Enterprises for 8 years, prior to joining EMD. Victoria has been a member of Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization (YEO) and (WEO) since 2002, serving as Forum President in 2005. She was named to the esteemed position of EMD President in March of 2007 and the transition was completed in September 2007.
Gary Klos
Director - Technical Services
Gary has been working with computers and technology for more than 20 years in Fortune 500 and 100 organizations. Gary is an expert in the industry having worked in sales, support, research and development, and plays a large role in many other departments. When he joined the company in 2001, he was rapidly promoted to Director after implementing several well-received programs for customers such as on-site service and 24x7 phone support. In his time at EMD, Gary has been recognized for Outstanding Achievement and Dedication to the company.
Casey Heidenreich
Director of Marketing
Casey graduated with a Marketing degree from the University of North Texas in 2003. She is the newest member of the management team at EMD having been with the company since 2007, and brings 5 years of experience marketing in the technology industry. Casey is a member of the local chapter of the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners and the local group Interconnect. She manages all EMD advertising programs and events, as well as working to develop and maintain channel partnerships.
Stephanie Moseley
Operations Manager
A graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas, Stephanie earned her degree in Accounting Information Management with Magna Cum Laude honors. She brings 14 years of accounting, project planning, and sales and transportation management experience, as well as a broad range of technical skills. Stephanie is active in many professional organizations including Beta Alpha Psi, and is the Treasurer and Auditor for the SAP Users Group. She manages the EMD accounting and production teams with focus on inventory management.
